Benefits and Incentives

Staffmark is pleased to offer the following benefits and incentives to our employees:

Healthcare Program
Staffmark offers medical, dental, prescription, short-term disability, and life insurance benefits to our temporary employees and their families through Essential StaffCARE limited benefit medical plan. This Blue Cross Blue Shield program is underwritten by BCS Insurance Company and administered by Planned Administrators, Inc. Employees are eligible to enroll in this program after their first day on assignment. Coverage will begin the first Monday following the first payroll deduction.

Holiday Pay
Employees who work 1,800 regular hours in a 12-month period may be eligible for holiday pay. An employee must work the scheduled day before and after the holiday to qualify. Staffmark's recognized holidays are New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day. Hours worked for certain customers may not apply. Holiday pay may vary depending on your assignment or the state in which you work, so contact your local Staffmark office to confirm which, if any, holidays you are eligible for.

401(k) Program
To assist our employees with retirement savings, Staffmark is pleased to offer a 401(k) savings program. Employees are eligible to enroll in the 401(k) program 30 days after their date of hire.

Direct Deposit
Staffmark employees can also take advantage of direct deposit of their paychecks. This feature is safe, secure, and more convenient than picking up checks in the branch offices or having checks mailed.

Debit Account
In addition to our direct deposit program, Staffmark also offers a debit card program for those employees who prefer this option. Employees can open this debit account and have their paychecks directly deposited, accessing their funds through a debit card.

FMLA
As part of the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), eligible Staffmark employees can receive up to 12 weeks of unpaid time off for qualifying reasons with advance notice and certification. Eligibility begins after one year of employment and 1,250 hours worked in the previous 12 months.

Verizon Wireless Discount
Staffmark employees can save 15% of their Verizon monthly access charge, and take 25% off eligible Verizon accessories. Existing Verizon customers can apply the discount to their current contract with no new contract or extension required. Click here for more details.

Complimentary Software Training/Tutorials
Staffmark is excited to give our employees the opportunity to upgrade their skills on a variety of the latest software packages. These tutorials are available at any of our branch locations and are free of charge to all employees.
